It’s Spring! We are gathering to celebrate another successful year for AAUW Eau Claire.
Thursday, May 3
6 – 8 p.m.
The Volume One Gallery at the Local Store, 205 N. Dewey St.
As our AAUW Eau Claire branch moves into its 60th year of advocacy, education, research and philanthropy, we are delighted to have a unique group of women help us celebrate getting better with age. Come and enjoy the wit and wisdom of ecWIT’s performance of “Alice in Elderland.” They have received standing ovations and have had sold out performances locally. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to share the laughter in this intimate venue.
This event is not open to the public, but please feel free to bring a guest. Refreshments will be served.
Also, annual membership dues ($85) are due soon. Save some postage and bring your checkbook to the meeting.
ecWIT (Eau Claire Women in Theater) is a group of area women with backgrounds in education, theater and performance, who use the art form, Dramatic Reader’s Theater, to tell stories. “Alice in Elderland” is an original script written by ecWIT’s own Debbie Brown. Enjoy each character’s sharing of ideas that all of us might choose to remember on our own aging journeys.
There is no admission fee for this performance, but free-will offerings will gladly be accepted to help raise funds for ecWIT to acquire some sound equipment.
